Today, the famous scientist, businessman, philanthropist Moussa Ekzekov celebrates his 55th anniversary.

He meets this date in the status of the recognized people's leader. He is the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Abkhaz-Abaza world Congress, the Chairman of the Abaza Association of public organization "Apsadgyl", President of the International Association of assistance development of the Abaza-Abkhazian ethnos "Alashara". But it is not even in the positions he holds, but in the affairs he performs, and in the great respect that he enjoys among the people. Abaza and Abkhazians of the whole world see in Moussa Ekzekov a person who is able to unite the people of Abaza and lead them along the path of revival of their former greatness.

Moussa Ekzekov was born on August 13, 1964 in the village of Krasny Vostok. Since childhood, he absorbed the beauty of the Abaza language and the wealth of national culture. This was facilitated by his grandfather and grandmother both from the father, Khabali Ekzekov, and the mother Fatimat – nee Fizikav. Folk tales and legends that they told their grandchildren, brought up in the kids the best human qualities, formed national character traits.

And the old men themselves were the real carriers of Abazara and served as an excellent example for children. Especially the grandfather on the father Gaziz Ekzekov. Little Moussa admired his strength, courage, inner energy and extraordinary kindness.

"Grandpa lived 97 years and at this age still mowed hay, – says Moussa Khubalevich. – He always had candy in his pocket, and he gave it to every child he met on the street."

Moussa also wanted to be strong and sturdy, like grandfather Gaziz, and played sports. In those years, in there were no sports schools and even sections in Krasny Vostok, and the children themselves were engaged in affordable sports, mainly chasing the ball. And there was a jungle gym in every rural yard, and all the boys could catch up, to make rise of the coup, many were executed and more complex exercises, and some even twisted the "sun" – for rural children it was "aerobatics".

When the first boxer appeared in the village, young Moussa Ekzekov "clung" to him, ran with him in the morning, trained, practiced blows. Boxing classes he continued as a student, studying at the Leningrad state technological institute named after Lensovet. But soon he was more fascinated by freestyle wrestling, and Moussa switched to this type of martial arts. A few months later he became the champion of Leningrad among universities, later won at larger tournaments – including All-union, became a master of sport. But the main thing that sport has given him is faith in his strength and ability to set high goals and achieve them.

The main purpose of his life Moussa Ekzekov defined in childhood. One day, his older sister asked him, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"The boy's answer was unexpected: "I want to earn a lot and help people."

Already in his student years, this goal has become more widespread.

"When I was studying in a big city far from my small homeland, I felt a lack of something of my own, native, national – well, at least the opportunity to listen to a cassette with Abaza songs. And then there were no them," - recalls his youth Moussa Khabalevich. And he continues: "Gradually I came to realize that my purpose and meaning of my life is to do everything possible to preserve the identity of his people, so that not only your children and grandchildren feel confident, but also all future generations, so that they know their roots, cherished them."

After graduating from the institute Moussa Ekzekov began working at the Leningrad plant of chemical laboratory utensils and devices as Deputy head of the mechanized production shop. Less than a year later he was appointed as a Deputy chief technologist of the plant. In November 1989 Mussa Ekzekov goes to graduate school at the Department of chemical technology of glass and ceramics, finishing it in 1992, after which he is taken in AOZT "Tehnointellect" in Saint-Petersburg as a Deputy General Director.

In early 1998, Moussa Ekzekov decides to embark on a "free swimming". He founded the development company JSC "Solomon", engaged in projects in the field of commercial real estate. In 2006, on Engels Avenue in St. Petersburg, the company opened a shopping and entertainment complex "Grand Canyon".

"When I started this construction in a vacant lot, few believed that within a few years it will be such complex, - says Moussa Khabalevich. – I called it "The Grand Canyon". I've been to America and seen the Colorado river valley with that name. And somehow it reminded me of the Kuma valley in Krasny Vostok," - the businessman explains the choice of the name of his offspring. In 2016, at the international real estate investment forum PROESTATE 2016, the Grand Canyon project was recognized as the best object of the decade in the category "Retail real estate". Today, the total area of commercial real estate under the management of JSC "Solomon" is about 200 thousand square meters.

A significant part of the money earned Moussa Ekzekov, as planned since childhood, began to direct to help people. He financed the establishment of schools of wrestling in all regions of Abkhazia and Karachay-Cherkessia, started a project "The song of the year – Abaza", which gave a powerful impetus to the development of Abaza song. And this, in turn, served as the conservation of Abaza language, after all, when national songs are played everywhere, the language all the time at the hearing, it is not forgotten.

In 2011, Moussa Ekzekov established an Autonomous non-profit organization "Alashara" in St. Petersburg, and in 2013 created its separate division in Karachay-Cherkessia. At the presentation of the office of "Alashara" in Cherkessk Moussa Ekzekov said: "There are already several public abaza organizations than how  will "Alashara"  be different from them?"And he said, “At the heart of our work will be consistency. We will set goals, develop tasks that will allow us to achieve these goals, and carry out the work necessary to meet these goals. This is the only way to succeed”.

"My team and I have developed a detailed program for the preservation and development of the ethnic group, designed for 10 years. I realized that if I do not implement this project, I will not be able to continue to be easy in my mind...", - recognized Moussa Ekzekov.

He has no doubt that the goal will be achieved. He is confident in his abilities and believes in his people.

"I want to have time to do more useful and important for my people, for my small homeland, for Russia, for Abkhazia. To leave a strong foundation for the development of future generations, - says Moussa Khabalevich. – After all, how much benefit will you bring to your people, society, depends on what trace you leave for posterity on earth...»
